What is included in the "Basic Post Processing"?
Each pose that you choose will go through a basic post processing, in which your images are taken and digitally enhanced so they look brighter, more colorful, and sharper for a much better image to print out than just the original photo taken straight from the camera. GO TO EXAMPLE PAGE
What is included in the "Customized Post Processing"?
You may choose to have customized post processing done to any of the poses that you like, in which you may then choose to turn any pose into a black and white photo, sepia photo, your choice of color tones, and you may even add vignette, or choose to do color selection where only a certain part of the picture remains in color. What is included in the "Digital Facial Re-touching"?
If you choose to have facial re-touching done to a pose, that photo will go through extensive digital editing in which all blemishes will be removed and you will have naturally flawless looking skin on your face and body! Your eyes will also be enhanced to be even brighter and sharper, and the final image will look even better than an image done with just basic pp. Please note that if there are more than one person in a pose, you will need to purchase the facial re-touching per person that would like to have it done in that pose, thank you! What do you mean by "frames" for each package?
During your photoshoot, I will be taking a certain amount of pictures which we refer to as "frames." I do not
just take a few photos, all packages have a generous amount of frames that are included. When you have more
frames, you have a better variety to choose your poses from, and a highter chance of getting an over-all better selection of poses.
Why would I need extra frames?
Purchasing extra frames or choosing a package that includes more frames is an excellent way to ensure your chances of getting the poses that you will love! There are no more reasons for you to have your photos taken only to be stuck with semi-ok poses that you are forced to choose out of! This is also great for parents who are having their children's photo shoot done...we all know how children can be a bit more challenging in getting that great pose, extra frames helps to ensure in getting some great pictures!
Can I pick more than one pose for a portrait sheet?
Yes! You may pick multiple poses to fill any of your portrait sheets (except the "8 rounded die-cut wallet sheets.) You do not need to fill up one portrait sheet with just one image. You may choose any of the poses you have chosen for your package to fill up a portrait sheet as you please. For example, if you will be getting the "9 wallets sheet," you may pick up to 9 different poses so you will have 9 different wallet prints. You may also do multiple combinations like, 4 of image "A", and 5 of image "B" for the total of your 9 wallets, or any other combination that you like! ONCE AGAIN PLEASE NOTE: Our new 8 rounded die-cut wallets sheet may only be filled with 1 pose, thank you!
What is the difference between minimum pakcage rate and the package specials?
The "minimum package rate" is a simple breakdown of all the normal prices and fees without any discounts. If there are no special packages available during the time, the minimum package rate would be your starting point in customizing your own pacakge, where you may add on the "extras" that will fit the type of package you would like to purchase. The "package specials" are packages priced with a discount, and the extras have already been picked out for you. All you have to do is pick one that will suite your needs! You may also purchase any additional "extras" to combine onto any of the package specials if needed.
Are there any other fees on top of the rate of the package specials, like sitting fees?
All of the prices listed for each package specials already include ALL fees! You would only need to pay for any ADDITIONAL "extras" that you would like to purchase that is not already included in the package.. like any additional poses, additional time, frames, portrait sheets, facial re-touching, etc....
How long should I expect for my pictures to be ready for pick-up?
I try to have your pictures edited, printed, and ready for pick-up as soon as possible. I ask for at least 2 weeks but may take as soon as 3 days to finish. Time will vary according to the volume of clients at the time of your photo shoot (holidays may take longer,) and in what order you have your photo shoot done. An estimated time will be given to you at the end of the photo shoot and once I know if there are any special editing that is being requested. You may also make a special request to have them done by a particular time if needed immediately, but will need to pay an extra fee depending on how busy it is at the time.
Do I need to pay in full before the photo shoot?
No, you may choose to either pay in full before the photo shoot, or pay the 50% non-refundable deposit before the photo shoot and the remaining balance at the time of pick-up. Please note that the 50% deposit IS NON-REFUNDABLE, thank you!
What type of payments do you accept?
Only cash or checks are being accepted at this time. Please note, there will be an automatic $35.oo service fee for any returned checks, thank you!
What is a basic shedule of a photo shoot?
A basic schedule will start off with a few test shots then your 1 hour time will begin. If you choose to purchase the make-up application, it will be done before the test shots and will not take away from your photo shoot time.
(PLEASE NOTE THAT: ANY time needed for wardwrobe changes, personal touch-ups, baby nursing, or any other reason's other than the photographer's reason to stop during the shoot, will take away from the 1 hour that is included in the shoot and you may need to purchase additional time to finish your frames, thank you!)
I will let you know once we have reached the end of the 1 hour shoot and will then ask you if you would like to purchase any addtional time if needed. If for any reason that the photo shoot is not complete (because we have not used all your frames to get enough poses, baby is not cooperating, etc...) but you are unable to stay for an additional time to complete the photo shoot, you may purchase your addtional time then, and just schedule a "continuation shoot" for a more convenient day. You will NOT be charged for an addtional sitting fee for "continuation shoots". You will only need to pay for any additional time needed to finish your original shoot.
When is the photo shoot complete?
The photo shoot is complete once the 1 hour, or the time purchased has been reached, or we have taken all the frames that is included in your package. You may then be able to pick out the amount of poses that are included in your package, or purchase any additional at that time. The pictures will then be ready between 3-14 business days depending on the volume of clients at that time, and will then also let you know if additional time will be needed to complete any special edtiting that you may have requested.
Can I bring more than one outfit, and is there a fee for multiple wardrobe changes?
Yes, you may bring as many outfits as you like at NO ADDITIONAL cost! Please take advanatage of this opportunity to look like you have gone through more than one photo shoot by bringing a few outfits!
PLEASE NOTE: that any time taken to change or do any touch-ups will be taken away from your photo shoot time, thank you!
