Does the session fee include products? What does the session fee cover?

Session fee DOES NOT include any prints, digital images, or keepsake products

Your non-refundable session fee reserves your date/time at your desired location

Session fee covers the boudoir photography services, full hair & makeup services, & the creative service time to produce your images

Prints, digital images, and keepsake products will be available for purchase via ala carte style or via Karen DB Photography Product Collections.

There will also be a Valentine's Day Collections available for a limited time!

I am interested in booking a boudoir shoot, what do I do?

Thank you so much for your interest! Please contact me anytime via email or call/text and simply let me know you are interested 

in doing the boudoir shoot. Please let me know if you have any preference on what day of the week, or specific date that you'd like to shoot.

I will then email you my availability so we can place your session date and time on a 24 hour hold.

How do I reserve my session date?

You will be emailed an invoice which will allow you to reserve your desired date via credit card payment directly through the invoice.

You will officially be reserved once your payment is received.

If session fee is not received within the 24 hour hold, the date will be made available again to the public for booking.

So excited I booked!! What's the next step after reserving my date?

Once your session fee is received, you will get confirmation that your date is officially booked!

We would then pick a location and talk about what kind of style you prefer!

I will put a custom mood board together for you so we can have a visual reference on the whole concept!

We want to be sure you approve of the direction, style, poses, and creative vision!

What are some location options for my boudoir session?

There are a few options where we can shoot your session!

 

My home studio

A section of my home studio set up just for boudoir sessions! It will have a clean white dreamy bedroom feel,

and produce beautifully lit photographs!

​

Comfort of your home

All the services of the boudoir session brought right to the comfort of your own place! I recommend that you use all white linens on your

bed and have white sheer curtains so that it will produce a nicely lit space.

 

Hotel

This will not only be a great option for a perfect location, but it's also an awesome excuse to enjoy

a reserved night out at one of your favorite hotels!

Outdoor location

A boudoir shoot taken at a beach or other natural outdoor location is a guaranteed way to get unique, super sexy images!

Do I provide my own wardrobe and if so, what should I wear?

Yes, and only wear what you feel good in!

We will go over your style preferences and use the mood board

to help guide you on what outfits will work best!

Do you edit the photos?

Yes!!! Images are FULLY retouched at no extra cost! You would let me know how much retouching you would like done, and if there are

any specific edits that you would like to request, I will do them to all your final images. I always aim to edit the images in such a way

that you look natural and  just photographed in the best pose to compliment your body and in the best lighting..

NOT to look like you have been "photoshopped!"

What do you mean by hand editing?

There are many professionals using what we call "presets" to edit their images. Presets work like "filters" so that

you can easily click on the preset, and it will auto edit your images.

Although this method works great for a faster turn around time, my personal preference is to "hand edit" all my images.

This means that I take the time to custom edit each and every single image you select, NO auto edits! This method can sometimes take up to an hour PER IMAGE depending on the amount of retouching that is to be done to the image and the amount of artistic edits being applied.

Not all photographers have experience in editing using this technique due to the preset methods available.

Although this may not be the most time efficient method,

this DOES produce the highest quality image to ensure each photograph you get is like a work of art.

What can I expect on the day of the shoot? Should I be nervous?

The day of the shoot, it would just be you, me, and our amazing hair and makeup artist!

It's ok to feel nervous, but I assure you, that I will do everything I can to make you feel at ease!

I have a very unique style of shooting and a one of a kind technique to get my clients posing naturally and artistically!

Most of my clients come in feeling shy and nervous in the beginning,

but by the end of the shoot are having a blast, laughing, and posing like a seasoned model!

Need music or a little glass of wine to help take the edge off? We got you covered!

It will be just like 3 girlfriends hanging out, and having a great time! hehe!

We will only do what you are comfortable with and will be sure the day is only filled with positive vibes!

Let this be a moment that you can let your hair down (literally), be pampered, and allow yourself to feel sexy and beautiful!!
